Infrastructure

Is it there, what does it cost, is it working.See cloud inventory

A cloud inventory and architecture map drawn from your own accounts, with each resource's health and whether its backup would restore.

Read-only to connect. Nothing changes without your approval.

Every resource, one place to look

What is running in my cloud account?

Every server, database and bucket MarshalCloud can read, in plain words, with its health from AWS's own checks. The map starts on Startup; other clouds on Growth.

What does each namespace cost?

A read-only agent in your cluster sends CPU and memory use per pod, so cost lands per namespace and workload. The cost agent is given no credentials to your cluster. From Growth.

How do I monitor servers outside a cloud?

Put the host agent on each server in an office, rack or data centre. It sends CPU, memory, disk and network out over HTTPS. From Growth; --uninstall removes it.

Host agent for servers outside a cloud

Install the agent, it enrols, sends metrics out over HTTPS, and runs the site's private checks.

  1. One install line

    On Linux or Windows

  2. It enrols

    It joins your site

  3. Metrics go out

    HTTPS only, nothing listens outside

  4. Private checks

    Run from inside your network

Is my backup actually restorable?

A resource counts as protected only when a completed restore copy exists that is younger than your target. Anything MarshalCloud cannot confirm reads unknown, never covered. On every plan.

Can it build environments too?

On Scaled, MarshalCloud plans a new environment, a person approves the plan, then it is applied. Deploys from your GitHub repository wait for the same approval.

Early access

A build is planned, a person approves it, and only then is it applied.

Which clouds, and what access?

AWS first, with Google Cloud and Kubernetes alongside.

01AWS and Google Cloud both?

MarshalCloud is AWS-first, with the deepest cost, security, health and fix coverage there. Growth and Scaled add Google Cloud inventory and recommendations plus Kubernetes allocation, without full AWS parity yet.

02What access does the Kubernetes agent need?

Read access to the workloads, nodes and recent events that cost and health need, plus the usage numbers each node reports. It never reads Secrets, logs or container contents, and its only write stays inside its own namespace.

03Does MarshalCloud get access to my cluster?

No. The agent runs inside your cluster and pushes numbers out; MarshalCloud is given no cluster credentials at all. Deleting the marshal namespace ends it.
